After class each day, there is still ample time and opportunity through our free-time program to marvel at the historic landmarks and attractions in the city, investigate the many “hip” districts, take pleasure in a wonderful panoramic view in the open air or simply enjoy playing soccer with newfound friends in a nearby park.

Activity Program Adults Hanging your feet in the Spree in Berlin, investigating the Museumsufer (waterside museum district) in Frankfurt, conquering the St. Pauli-Kiez in Hamburg or enjoying the English Garden in Munich? Our suggestions for adults leave no wish unfulfilled. For youth of all ages, a host of attractions await in Augsburg, Aschaffenburg, Berlin, Hintersee, Höchst, Cologne, Nuremberg and Wiesbaden. There is something for everyone! Our advisers are always available with tips and suggestions.

Look what is in store for you! The summer months are full of festivals, city celebrations and day trips to many interesting and worthwhile locations. Photo Blog for Course Participants

In our German courses, not only will you learn a lot about the German language, but will also experience the country and its people “up close and personal” – their cultural treasures, customs, sights and attractions. Share your exciting experiences with friends and family at home through our online Photo Blog for Adults. Our teen participants have a specially designated spot for their snapshots in the Photo Blog for Juniors, as well. In this way, all of those left behind at home can enjoy what you are experiencing here in Germany at the same time.

Why Munich?

Brandon from Hong Kong: “Now I can go anywhere I want without my German phrase book. Why Munich? I wanted to come here in order to experience the Bavarian hospitality. At the same time, I wanted to be close to Austria and places that were of interest to me, so I could travel a lot in my free time apart from class. One of my favorite freetime activities in the afternoon was to sit in a pleasant café and observe how a typical day is evolving for the people of Munich. The Käsespätzle and beer are not to be missed in Munich! Read more
