Hello Friend Newsletter in EnglishNewsletter auf Deutsch

Many people say they would rather travel to the ocean or the sea than to spend summertime in the city, but our four adult course locations show their most beautiful sides in the summer months: picnicking in the Tiergarten in Berlin, enjoying nature in the sun in the Palmengarten in Frankfurt, sailing around on the Outer Alster Lake in the Hanseatic City of Hamburg or meeting up with friends in a beer garden in Munich – what could be more enjoyable?

Summer in the City! Discover Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich! And the best thing is, you won’t be left to your own devices to get to know the city alone, but can explore it instead together with fellow students and our experienced staff during our fun and informational weekly free-time programs

Of course, our program staff members know their way around their hometowns extremely well. Consequently, you won’t just get to know the typical tourist attractions, but will also receive lots of insider tips – information about popular exhibitions, clubs and parties.

The current activity program schedule for this summer can be found on our website. Take a look at what is on the docket for Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich. In addition to the planned activities organized for the free-time program, there are multiple concerts and festivals taking place in August in each of the cities. To find out exactly what is scheduled in your course location, take a look at the city websites for Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich.

Why Hamburg?

Harpreet from Great Britain: “I had already studied at did deutsch-institut in Berlin twice before and enjoyed the experience. I believe the did deutsch-institut teachers really helped me to improve my German. Why did I decide to study in the city of Hamburg this time? A good friend of mine has been an au pair in Hamburg for two years and recommended Hamburg to me. It was a fantastic experience! I made lots of new friends and got to know one of the most breathtaking cities in the world.” Read more
